Nevada 211 is collaborating with Airbnb.org, a nonprofit established by Airbnb that supports communities during emergencies, to offer free temporary housing for residents impacted by the Hawk Fire in Reno.
Through this collaboration, Nevada 211 is helping identify people who have been displaced, including families living in evacuation areas or individuals whose homes have been damaged or destroyed.
Nevada 211 then connects them with Airbnb.org, which provides eligible residents with credits so they can book a stay that fits their needs while they begin the recovery process.

Hawk Fire Temporary Housing Program
Nevada 211 is partnering with Airbnb.org to provide free temporary housing for residents displaced by the Hawk Fire in Reno.
Through this partnership, Nevada 211 is helping identify residents impacted by the fire and connecting eligible families with Airbnb.org. This includes families whose homes are located within an evacuation zone or whose homes have been lost or damaged as a result of the fire.
Airbnb.org will provide eligible residents with credits to book temporary accommodations that meet their needs while they begin the recovery process.
This assistance is made possible through a collaborative effort between Nevada 211 and Airbnb.org, in partnership with United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, American Red Cross of Northern Nevada, Washoe County School District – Family Resource Centers, and Scouting America – Nevada Area Council.
