Nevada 2-1-1 programs that honor Veteran’s Day, which is a federal holiday that is celebrated every 11th of November. Originally, Veterans Day was called “Armistice Day,” and the date was chosen to commemorate the signing of the armistice with Germany that ended hostilities during World War I.
