The Nevada Resilience Project will conclude services on March 14th, 2024. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) created the Nevada Resilience Project to support families and individuals experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges.

The Nevada Resilience Project thanks its ambassadors for their work in helping those in need, connecting Nevada’s communities with mental health resources and for their dedication to fostering hope and resilience.

While the COVID-19 pandemic is no longer considered a state of emergency and the Nevada Resilience Project will be sunset, the program’s team recognizes that there are lasting impacts from the pandemic and that the demand for mental health services and support is still high.

DHHS provides a variety of resources through the Nevada 211 website and apps, which offer a free and easy way for Nevadans to locate and get connected to mental health resources as well as services for housing, food, utility assistance, transportation, childcare, and more.

For anyone who may need immediate assistance, they can call or text 988, or talk with a person through the online chat function at 988lifeline.org/chat. Crisis care is available 24/7/365.
